Info night on diabetes

ARE YOU living with diabetes?

A free information evening with a festive theme is to be held at The Links Health Centre in Montrose tomorrow (Thursday), from 5.30 until 7.30pm.

The aim of this evening is to help those people who are living with diabetes to live well by providing up-to-date information on diabetes as well as offering the opportunity for people to share their experiences.

The evening will be fun and educational with a festive theme, and there will be an opportunity to take part in a Christmas Quiz.

So if you or a member of your family is living with diabetes and know who Dancer, Dasher and Donner are and would like to know more about diabetes, then come along to the Links Health Centre and join in the fun.

During the evening there will be time to have a cup of tea or coffee and find out just who is the Christmas ‘Mastermind’ of the night!

Rhona Guild, primary care manager, Angus Community Health Partnership, said: “With Christmas just around the corner the evening will be light-hearted with a festive theme it will be but educational too. It will be a great opportunity for people living in and around Montrose to come along and find out more about diabetes but also what they can do to live better.

“It is important for people affected by a long-term condition to have access to the right information, education, support and services to help them manage their condition more effectively.”

There is no need to book for this evening so if you, or a member of your family, have diabetes then why not drop in.
