Information on COPD at Arbroath

Montrose residents are welcome to attend an Angus Community Health Partnership free educational session in Arbroath delivered by Respiratory Nurse Specialists for people living with COPD.

Anyone affected by COPD is invited to attend with family, carers or friends on Tuesday, September 23, between 6 and 7.30 p.m. at Bruce House, Wellgate, Arbroath. Booking is not required.

COPD is an umbrella term describing a number of respiratory conditions, including chronic bronchitis, emphysema and lung damage caused by chronic asthma.

Two and a quarter per cent of the Angus population live with a confirmed diagnosis of this condition, and it is thought that many more are affected but are as yet undiagnosed.

For further information please call Rhona Guild, Primary Care Manager on 01307 474889 or email Please note that there are a few steps into the hall, making the event inaccessible for wheelchair users.
