SUZANNE Sheridan retired on Friday after almost two decades working at Sunnyside Royal Hospital.

Suzanne, who lives in Johnshaven, was a medical secretary at Sunnyside Hospital and she retired from her post in the Montrose/Brechin Under-65 Community Mental Health Team based at Booth House there.

She is also secretary of the Division of Psychiatry.

In her retirement Suzanne is planning to spend more time with her family and grandchildren as well as doing a spot of globetrotting which will include a visit to Sydney, Australia.

Consultant psychiatrist Dr Roger Blake presented Suzanne with a cheque on behalf of colleagues and friends, as well as her NHS 20-year Long Service Award.

Dr Blake said: “On behalf of her many colleagues and friends I would like to wish Suzanne well in her retirement.

“She is a much valued member of the team and will be missed not only for her contribution to the smooth running of the department but also for her delicious tray bakes that she kindly brought in for her colleagues to sample!”
