Stracathro gets good health report

NHS TAYSIDE has welcomed the findings of the Healthcare Environment Inspectorate (HEI) report relating to an inspection of Stracathro Hospital in May.

The team visited four areas at the hospital and reported that the wards and clinical areas were clean, and compliance with standard infection control precautions had significantly improved since the last inspection.

They also found that infection control surveillance information is clearly publicly displayed on all wards for patients, staff and visitors to view.

NHS Tayside Chairman Sandy Watson said: “We are very encouraged that today’s HEI report comments on how clean the inspectors found Stracathro Hospital.”
