The National Trust for Scotland is looking for help in decorating the refurbished cafe and retail area at its historic House of Dun, near Montrose.
The two sections of the country house currently undergoing reconstruction originally formed part of the stable.
Property manager John McKenna said: “With the refurbishment work, we have a great opportunity to tell the story of these modest buildings and the part they would have played in the running of the house and the estate.
“We’re hoping to track down some old photographs, so that we can give an insight into days gone by at Dun.”
Any images relating to the House of Dun are being sought – butin particular anything in black and white and depicting the general day to day activities throughout its history.
The Trust would also welcomeany images relating to the stables and its workers and the wider expanse of the estate and garden.
If selected, the images will then be blown up to size for placement within the two new units.
Of course all original copies will be returned and acknowledgement given to benefactors.
