Indie Rock Night at Black Abbot

The Black Abbot is the place to head to for a fantastic indie rock night on Friday, May 1, with live music from 7 pm to 1 am.

The headliner on the night will be Crazy Mo, the drummer from the well known Dundee band The View, who will spin a set.

He will be on stage at 12 am.

Other members of the band may also be there on the night.

Crazy Mo, along with Kyle Falconer, Pete Reilly and Kieren Webster were originally talent spotted by Pete Docherty from The Libertines who listened to their demo tape.

The famous bad boys’ biggest selling single ‘Same Jeans’ was in 2007 and they recently released their single ‘Marriage’ along with their new video.

The single is from their forthcoming album ‘Ropework’ which is released on June 8, 2015 and can now be pre-booked.

The Indie rock night line up will feature established Dundee and local bands that include Unromantics, Unknown on Sunday, Northern Lights and Frazer Dewar.

The event is promoted by Lewis Forrest and Liam Grieve from Laurencekirk.
