Police in Montrose are appealing for witnesses after a male was disturbed while acting suspiciously at a nursing home.

The incident took place at around 1am in and around the grounds of Fordmill Nursing Home on Mill Street.

Upon being confronted by staff members the male made good his escape in an unknown direction. The male is described as being white, about 5ft 9 inches tall, early 20s, short dark hair, bushy eyebrows, wearing a black top with white writing, black trousers and white trainers.
