LOCHSIDE Primary School pupils joined people across the country before the end of winter term to wear their Christmas jumpers to raise money to help save children’s lives.

Everyone either showed off their favourite festive sweaters, tinselled up everyday jumpers to look the part, or perhaps even rescued Granny’s homemade knitwear, while donating money for taking part.

The School Council organised ‘Guess the Teddy’s Birthday’ and ‘How many sweeties in the jar?’ competitions.

The pupils raised the splendid sum of £395 towards Save the Children’s life-changing work with the world’s poorest children.
