It’s May Day and also the next Kenneth Hay Photographs Day in Montrose Museum on Friday.
Angus Archives’ volunteers have been busy and scanned hundreds of negatives of Montrose Academy and pupils, weddings, the lifeboat and more.
Members of the public can go along to Montrose Museum on Friday (May 1) between 10.30 am and 4 pm and have a look for themselves.
The Hay Collection reflects the social history of Montrose in the late 20th century illustrating events, local people, businesses, the harbour and Ferryden amongst others.
Take a stroll down memory lane and help Angus Archives to identify more faces.
You can go along and enjoy browsing through the images, watch the slideshow, have a chat and enjoy a cup of tea. The event is free and refreshments will be available.
