Kings of Swing at the Webster Theatre

FEATURING stars from the West End box office hit Rat Pack Live from Las Vegas, a brand-new spectacular featuring the kings of swing – Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr – is coming to town!

Rat Pack Live swaggers into Scotland on the Caledonian leg of its international tour, boasting that it possesses “all the panache and attitude of Frank, Dean and Sammy during their Vegas heyday”.

Among the tour dates is Sunday, April 22 when the show stops off at the Webster Memorial Theatre, Arbroath at 7.30 pm.

Show producer Michael Taylor says; “Featuring the sound of big band swing, Rat Pack live has an incredible, all-star cast.”

The evening’s Dean, Mark Halliday, comes fresh from a triumphant portrayal of Dean Martin both in the West End of London and international touring production of Rat Pack Live in Las Vegas.

Mark also spent two years in the States creating the role of Hades in Disney’s new musical Hercules. He also has lead appearances in runaway touring hit shows Girls Night Out and Aspects of Love under his belt.

The evening’s Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jnr exude similarly astounding stage presence. Their impressive credentials include respectively: starring roles with the BBC Concert Orchestra, Passadena Roof Orchestra and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra plus appearances with the likes of Sandie Shaw, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Mica Paris; and national tours portraying Sammy Davis Jnr with the West End Rat Pack and Nat King Cole in Strictly Swing.
