Members of the Laurencekirk Artists’ Society are holding their fourth annual exhibition over the weekend.
Altogether 12 contributors, including artists from Montrose and Brechin, are taking part this year in the varied exhibition.
The works feature a diverse range of subjects and genres – from landscape to seascape, portraiture to flower studies.
And, while most of the work is best described as representational, there is a variety of approaches in a wealth of different media in this eclectic show.
Though it would be fair to say that landscapes predominate, the artists hope there will be something for everyone.
Following on the success of their 2013 charity initiative which saw £420 donated to local charities, the exhibition will feature a section devoted to ‘smaller works’.
The paintings are all originals and proceeds from their sale will, once again, go to support local charities.
The exhibition runs from Saturday (October 25) to Sunday (October 26) in The Venue, 84 High Street, Laurencekirk, AB30 1BJ.
It is open to the public between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and admission is free.
