Borrowfield’s book day

Borrowfield School pupils marked World Book Day recently with a range of activities in school celebrating books.

Staff read their own favourite children’s book to groups of pupils while older pupils were paired with younger during reading lessons.

The children were also encouraged to dress up as their favourite book character for the day and the school launched the Borrowfield Book Exchange, where unwanted books can be changed for new ones. Pictured are, from left - pupils Natalia, Alex, Tegan and Aidan in the school library.
