A Montrose care home is taking part in a health and safety week initiative next week.
On Monday (March 24), Montrose Care Home, which is part of Four Seasons Health Care, the UK’s largest independent health care provider, will be taking part in the company’s Health & Safety Week.
The new initiative has been implemented to increase everyone’s understanding of current health and safety best practice to enhance the well-being and comfort of people living in Four Seasons’ care homes.
Throughout the week, staff at the care home on Broomfield Road will focus on a specific health and safety topics, including choking, bed rails and entrapment, moving and handling, legionella and protection from hot surfaces and fire safety.
Presentations on these themes will be delivered by managers and health care specialists to staff at Montrose Care Home and a Health & Safety Week pack will be provided as an additional resource for after the event.
