Garden competition for great gardens!

Calling all council tenants – is your garden a riot of colour, your shrubs spectacular, your flowers flourishing or your pot plants looking pretty?

If so, don’t hide your beautiful begonias under the proverbial bush – enter the annual garden competition now!

You can find out more about nominating your own garden, or a neighbour’s garden, for this year’s awards by telephoning the ACCESSLine on 08452 777 778 or popping into your local ACCESS office.

Local housing officers and communities teams can also offer information about the awards.

Encouraging tenants in Angus to enter, the council’s Communities vice-convener councillor, Jeanette Gaul told the Review: “I am sure we’ll see some fantastic gardens again this year, all adding to the colour and character of our communities and making it easy for all of us to be proud of Beautiful Angus!”

The closing date for nominations for the competition is Friday, July 11, and the judging will take place during the weeks of July 14 and 21.

The winners of the annual garden competition will receive an award, gardening voucher and a certificate to proudly display.

Good luck to everyone who enters!
