The total amount raised for Cancer Research by Fiona Gwynne getting her head shaved at the weekend currently stands at £2627.42.

Fiona told the Review: “I am so grateful to everyone who has donated, the kind words, messages of support and to everyone who came to support us on the day.

“It has meant so much to both Louise and myself and also to her family and friends.

“I was so glad that Louise was there to support me on the day.

“She is a very strong and brave woman who is not going to let cancer get the better of her.”

Fiona’s hair is being donated to the Little Princess Trust. A charity that provides real-hair wigs to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have sadly lost their own hair through cancer treatment.

Fiona added: “I am very glad to have been able to support a good friend, do something positive and raise such a fantastic amount for such a worthy charity.”
