Hillside road repairs
COUNCILLOR David May has welcomed the news that much needed carriageway and footway works in Hill Place were scheduled to start this week.
He told the Review: “This will obviously have implications for those residents in the area and those using the street.
“I have been informed that the movement of pedestrians and vehicles will be affected for a period of approximately three weeks.
“I have also been told that the footway works shall be carried out during the first two weeks and a road closure will be in effect for the final week.
“I am also aware that residents have been notified about more details on this and they are asked to find alternative parking places while work is being carried out”.
