Industrial accident

A MAN thought to be in his late thirties has been seriously injured in an industrial accident in the Charleton Road area of Montrose this afternoon, Tuesday.

It is believed that he was involved in an incident with pipes.

He is being taken to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, by air ambulance.

The Health and Safety Executive has been informed.

Members of the public have seen helicopter activity at the seafront, with an area cordoned off by police. It is presumed that this is connected with the Charlton Road incident.
