‘Orange day’ at Borrowfield
MEMBERS of Montrose Emergency Services Group will swap uniforms for paint overalls to assist employees of GSK, Montrose, on Tuesday, October 16. Glaxo is running an ‘Orange Day’ in the community and need additional helpers to decorate the interior of the Borrowfield Community Centre during the day.
Work starts at 8.30am. Paint and some brushes will be provided. However, helpers are asked to bring extra paint brushes and dust sheets.
Local Community Police Officer Ally Hutchison commented: “This is a fantastic example of community spirit and joint working in our community. We are working closely with the Borrowfield Community Group on this project and hope that there will be a good turnout from local residents on the day.”
