Police continue to combat drugs
Tayside Police is continually committed to the fight against drug-related crime.
In pursuance of this, ‘Ditch the Dealer’ leaflets will be distributed by members of the Community Task Force throughout Angus in the coming days in an effort to make the public aware that they can pass on information anonymously.
Concerned members of the public can contact the charity Crimestoppers anonymously and provide details of drug dealers and drugs users in their area, as well as any other criminal activity they may wish to report.
For example, are there a large number of callers at a particular house, with none of them staying long?
The leaflets contain a form that can be completed anonymously and posted back to the police.
All the information provided is carefully researched and allows the police to focus not only on individuals and their associates, but also the other areas of crime they may be involved in.
Anyone who has information on drug dealing should get in touch with Tayside Police on 0300 111 2222, or any police officer.
Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
