Macphie of Glenbervie and Stewart Milne celebrated winning a prestigious human resources award at the cHeRries Awards in Aberdeen.
The Tremendous Training and Development Award was presented for their Managing People For Growth programme.
The jointly-run programme was designed and run by Derek Peacock of Future Factory Ltd and was partially funded by Scottish Enterprise.
Its aim is to help employees increase and develop their leadership skills such as motivation, assertiveness, communication and conflict management.
Neil Freckingham, operations director, Macphie said: “We’re delighted to have won this award as it recognises the hard work and collaboration with our partner, Stewart Milne, in delivering a leadership programme that explodes the myth that we are all different.
“Through our continued investment in our people, we have developed a programme with sustainable results and where leadership skills are transferable. It’s vital to ensure our team leaders have the necessary skills required to manage and drive change in the business, which in turn will support our future growth ambitions”.
The award was open to companies that demonstrated a strong commitment to designing and delivering cohesive and innovative training programmes.
