Scottish rock and folk band Amber Road have been signed by an American record company.
The six-piece band, which includes George Abbot from Montrose on lead guitar, have landed a record deal with Premier Records.
Graham Brown, David Lindsay, Mike Horsburgh, Eddie Brown, George Abbott and Davie Hunter have been signed after only playing together for around a year-and-a-half.
Lead singer Mike Horsburgh said: “There is a strong feeling of achievement following a lot of hard work and effort by everyone in the band.
“Getting signed allows us to focus on recording and playing live, which is what we all enjoy.”
He added: “The next step for Amber Road is to have the forthcoming album complete within the next few months and play some more live shows.”
Amber Road are currently in the studio working on their third EP, due to be released this summer. Premier Records will distribute the releases in
