CANCER Research UK Montrose is holding a special event on Saturday (October 20), in aid of the Stand Up To Cancer Campaign being broadcast on Channel 4.
The area manager Ken Donaldson has agreed (willingly - no blackmail necessary!) to step into the ‘world of pain’ and be waxed on the day in the charity’ shop window in order to raise funds, starting from around 11am.
There will also be a tombola, ‘guess the whisky’ competition and other activities throughout the day in aid of this very worthy cause.
The Montrose branch has recently hit the £2 million mark, thanks to the team of amazing volunteers and the generosity of the public.
