A creative Montrose student is having her photography displayed in an exhibition in Aberdeen in June.
Kirstie Walker’s work will be displayed in the 129th Gray’s School of Art Degree Show from June 21 to 28.
The former Lochside Primary School and Montrose Academy pupil was also one of the official photographers for this year’s Montrose Music Festival and photographed Status Quo.
She also had her work displayed at the university for a week in May as part of the End of Year Show
Kirstie (22) said: “The exhibition will feature my New York street photography.
“I feel extremely proud to see my work displayed and have had a great response from those who have seen my work hung up.
“I have even been approached by a magazine who want to publish my photographs.
“I have always loved street photography and some of my favourite photographers are street/documentary based, such as Martin Parr, Matt Weber and Robert Frank.
“My final major project for BA Commerical Photography was a great opportunity to finally take my own street photographs, and after a trip to New York City the photographs came together naturally. “
Kirstie graduates in July.
