There might not have been many ‘Bearded Ladies’ but ‘Moustachioed Misses’ were in evidence at D&A College, Arbroath Campus, when beauty care and make-up students were offering a Movember Makeover.
A total of 18 NC (Level 5) beauty care and make-up students, including Lauren Moir from Montrose (pictured) who studies beauty therapy at the college, supported the male health issues initiative by offering to provide bespoke ’taches to anyone who was brave enough to sport one.
It wasn’t just male students who took part in the event on Wednesday, November 26, however, plenty of female students were willing to make a donation to have and instant moustache slapped on their upper lip.
To broaden the appeal of becoming a fuzz-face, the beauty care and make-up artists offered a range of colours and styles, as well as nail art.
Lecturer Vicky Smith, said: “This provided the chance for our students to use their make-up expertise to help a good cause.
“A lot of guys, both students and staff, really get into the spirit of Pink Day to help raise funds to battle breast cancer, so it was heartening to see so many girls getting involved in something that promotes male health.”
