THE FUND to provide four-year-old cerebral palsy sufferer Rhys Allan with a therapy room will receive a boost this weekend when Dean Milne (41), runs in the Inverness Marathon.

Dean, who played for 20 years for Roselea, is tackling his first marathon, from White Bridge up the side of the loch to Inverness.

He said: “I hope all those years of training and pre-season will stand me in good stead. I had initially intended just to run the marathon, then realised I could do a bit of good as well.”

Dean, who works for GE Oil and Gas, can still be sponsored by going to dean.milne471@btinternet.com or by handing in contributions to Dennis Burke, hairdresser, Murray Street, where Mrs Milne works.
