Machine Knitters

ANGUS Machine Knitters will be starting off the New Year today (Wednesday, January 12) with an exciting new programme of demonstrations and projects to take you through to spring.

First off will be the collection of prem baby wear to be handed over to one of the midwives from the local hospital.

Members were busy throughout the autumn following a club demonstration of tiny jackets, cardigans and hats with suitable gaps for hospital lines.

Sadly the group missed their Christmas night out but look forward to a get together over a welcoming dinner.

New members are always welcome and remember it is not necessary to own a knitting machine to enjoy the fun of the club.

There is always help on hand for learning new techniques, with books available for loan along with some items of equipment to enhance your knitting or ease the process.
