MONTROSE Model Aero Club (MMAC) is holding its annual Summer Fly-In on Saturday and Sunday, July 28 and 29, at the Broomfield Playing Fields flying site.
Flying of radio-controlled aeroplanes will take place between 10.30am and 4pm, subject to weather conditions.
It is planned to have dual control training equipment available to allow newcomers to experience the thrill of flying a model under the supervision of an experienced pilot.
The club has about 30 members but is always keen to recruit new ones. Members will be delighted to pass on information about the planes, the club and the hobby in general throughout the day.
The club‘s headquarters are next to the Broomfield Council Depot and there are normally members there on Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes and Friday evenings.
