Models put their best foot forward for the Montrose Inner Wheel’s fashion show which raised more than £3430 for Save the Children Scotland.

Frocks and Frolics was held at Taylor’s Auction House on Wednesday, October 9, and splendid range of top fashions were presented by Chique, of John Street.

The important work that Save the Children does was outlined by its representative, Moya Fox, to an audience of 250.

Inner Wheel Club president Mary Faulkner said: “A grateful thanks on behalf of the club to Ian and Eileen Taylor of Taylor Auctions, who again made their splendid premises available for the fashion show, to Joe Wishart who compered the show with wit and style and to Montrose Academy pupil Rhona Macfarlane who provided musical entertainment as people arrived and during the interval.”

The president also thanked club members who had worked hard to organize this event and reserved final thanks to the large audience who had braved a night of strong winds and rain to support a worthwhile cause.
