A Montrose man is to appear in court today (Wednesday) following the seizure of more than £10,000 of drugs in the town.

A 24-year-old man has been charged in connection with drugs offences after Class A Drugs with an estimated illicit value of over £10,000 were recovered from an address in Gibson Place, yesterday.

He is expected to appear at Forfar Sheriff Court today

A 22 year-old woman and a 24-year-old man have also been charged in connection with drugs offences following the recovery of Class A drugs with an estimated illicit value of £3,000 from an address in Yeamans Lane, Dundee yesterday.

Both individuals are expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court today.

This was part of Operation Slate - an intelligence-led initiative aimed at reducing drug-related crime in our communities.
