A lucky Montrose teenager could be crowned a beauty queen in a national contest.
Natasha Stark (16) has been selected as a semi-finalist for the Miss Teen Great Britain 2014 competition.
Out of thousands of entrants across the UK, the S4 Montrose Academy pupil is one of the 200 semi-finalists.
She said: “It’s amazing! I was shocked and screamed when I found out. I can’t believe it. I hope that the contest will build my confidence and I can meet new people.”
Natasha, who hopes to crack into the modelling industry, said she entered the competition after friends and family said she should enter a modelling contest.
Her mum, Val, said: “I’m proud of Natasha and hope she can get through to the final because it will boost her self esteem.”
Judges will now whittle the 200 girls down to 60 for the final, which takes place in Birmingham in August.
The winner of Miss Teen Great Britain 2014 will receive a prize package, including £1,000, a photoshoot and a modelling portfolio.
If Natasha wins a place in the final she will have to raise sponsorship money of more than £250 .
The contest is split into two categories Miss Junior Teen Great Britain for 11-to-14-year-olds and Miss Teen Great Britain for 15-to-19-year-olds.
