A LOCAL woman became a TV star for a day when she appeared on ITV tea-time show The Hour.
Margaret Webb from Montrose was on the programme to talk about a selection of antiques that she has collected over the years.
Among the items she brought in was a Marionette Theatre which was bought by her father in 1940.
The Hour’s antiques expert Anita Manning was very impressed by the toy and said that because Margaret had kept it in excellent condition over the years it could be worth up to £200.
Margaret said: “I was very nervous but it was still an enjoyable experience.
“Everyone was so nice and welcoming and there was a very friendly atmosphere.
“My grandson Robbie (10) came with me to the STV studios and he got a tour of the building and even got to sit at the news desk!”
