A Montrose model has been crowned Mr Scotland for the second year in a row.
Calvin Davidson competed in the Mr British Empire competition on Saturday and won second place overall, as well as retaining his title of Mr Scotland for the second year running.
This is the first time the Mr Scotland accolade has been awarded to the same contestant for two consecutive years.
Calvin flew the flag for his hometown at the final held in the Mercure Hotel in Watford, competing as Mr Montrose.
The overall winner of the competition, Brett Walker, is also from Tayside.
Calvin said: “It was an absolutely awesome event and I enjoyed every second.
“I intend to go back next year and maybe win first place.
“The winner was Brett Walker from Dundee, and ironically it was me who got him into the competition.
“I am so glad he won though because he is such a lovely, fun guy and we have made good friends with each other and the other contestants.
“Brett will be away on an all expenses paid trip to China to represent Scotland in another competition as part of his winner’s prize.
“I am over the moon with second place and the Mr Scotland title.”
This is the second time Calvin has entered the contest - he was named Mr Scotland and placed fifth last year. He cited the competition as having launched his modelling career.
Prior to this year’s Mr British Empire contest, Calvin took part in the Top Model UK competition back in April.
For that competition, models were able to raise money for charity, and public votes for the event also helped to raise funds for a good cause.
Calvin realised £2000 for Children with Cancer UK. He has also worked on Trainspotting 2 recently with director Danny Boyle.
