Organisations can apply to the ScotRail Foundation’s new fund for a variety of projects. These could include:-

Putting on an event, activity or performance

Purchasing new equipment

Buying materials or equipment which will improve communities

Paying expenses for volunteers, costs for sessional workers and professional fees

Costs of hiring equipment

New activities within a community

Training for local communities

The foundation is also keen on schemes that tackle vandalism, promote events that bring people of all ages together, increase awareness of health-related issues and eligigle organisations can include play groups and parents’ groups, sports clubs and sporting events.

Applications will be considered twice a year by three regional committees consisting of ScotRail employees. The first deadline is August 9.
