New Kenneth Hay photos on display at Montrose Musuem

It’s February and there will be a crop of newly scanned images at the next joint Kenneth Hay Photographs Day in Montrose Museum from Friday.

Angus Archives’ volunteers have been busy scanning hundreds of negatives and on Friday (February 6) between 10.30 a.m and 4 p.m. members of the public can have a look for themselves.

The Hay Collection reflects the social history of Montrose in the late 20th century illustrating events, local people, businesses, weddings, sports, the harbour and Ferryden amongst others.

Take a stroll down memory lane and help identify more faces. You never know what or who you might see!

Enjoy browsing through the images, watch the slideshow, have a chat and enjoy a cup of tea. The event is free and refreshments will be available.

For further information contact Angus Archives on 01307 468644 or Montrose Museum on 01674 673232.
