Montrose Rotary Club has welcomed its newest member, John Sutcliffe.
Mr Sutcliffe worked for many years in the whisky industry with Bells where he became the sales director in England, later becoming sales director with Moray Firth Maltings.
Retiring in 1995, he took over the family farm at Leys of Dun near Montrose.
Mr Sutcliffe has been a volunteer at Citizen’s Advice since 2000 and a board member and chairman of the Rossie Young Peoples Trust.
He was born in Halifax, Yorkshire, spending his early years in London and Essex.
He has been married to his wife Eve for 48 years.
He was introduced to the club by Rotarian Tony Rance and was inducted by club president Hamish Watt.
