PDSA seeking volunteer

A MONTROSE charity store is appealing for a volunteer to help raise money for sick and injured pets in the local area.

PDSA store manager Ramona McMahon said: “We are looking for a volunteer van assistant who can help our stock collectors deliver and collect our pink donation sacks. They will need to be organised and have good time-keeping. No experience is needed as full training is provided.

“To apply for the role, please call our National Volunteering Centre on freephone 0800 854194 or visit www.pdsa.org.uk/volunteering.”

Ramona is also urging local animal lovers to have a clear out and donate their unwanted items to PDSA. The store desperately needs items including good quality bric-a-brac and ornaments.

Donations can be taken to the store Monday to Saturday, between 9am and 5pm.

Montrose PDSA store, located at 2 High Street, raises funds to provide free veterinary treatment for the sick and injured pets of local people in need at the Dundee PDSA PetAid hospital.
