ONE OF the biggest and best bands in classic soul, ska, blues and rock n roll on the Aberdeen music scene, The Chandeliers, will be playing at the Marykirk Hall on Saturday (March 2), at 7.30pm.
The seven-piece band inject their own twist into authentic classics and their energetic live show keeps the dance floor packed.
After the sell-out success of Burlesque last year, the Raft Race committee look forward to another rip-roaring night of song and dance.
There will be a bar, with proceeds going to fund the Raft Race on May 19, and ultimately benefit lots of local charities and good causes.
Tickets for the concert have been held at the bargain price of £10 and can be bought from The Marykirk Hotel and Mearns Hardware in High Street, Laurencekirk.
A total of 17 rafts competed in the 2012 race, and over £7,000 was raised for charities and local groups.
