A PROPERTY management company based in Tayside has launched its third community bursary scheme to provide financial support to groups in the local area.
Ross and Liddell launched the initiative in 2011 and over the last two years it has supported more than 50 groups.
Irene Devenny, managing director, believes the scheme will continue to make a positive impact in communities across Scotland. She said: “We set-up the Community Bursary Scheme because we wanted to provide financial support to groups in the local communities in which we work in and we have been overwhelmed with the number of organisations who have applied for funding in the last two years.
“Last year we were able to support a range of organisations throughout the area. The feedback has been extremely positive and we are thrilled that our support has made such a difference.”
Applications are now open and groups can apply for a grant up to the value of £500, to purchase equipment and material to improve the service it provides to the local community.
Groups wishing to apply for funding from Ross and Liddell’s Community Bursary 2013 should visit www.ross-liddell.com to download an application form.
The closing date is Friday, June 28.
