STUDENTS and staff at Angus College’s sports department have been giving their colleagues nightmares recently in the name of charity.
Most of the HNC students and staff were replaced by assorted zombies, overgrown school girls and other less easy to describe characters to raise money for Comic Relief. Not only did they dress up but on Red Nose Day itself, March 15, they ran one and a half miles around Arbroath in the same outfits.
Dr Sarah Ramminger, lecturer, said: “We certainly had an impressive turnout. The staff, dressed as zombies, caused quite a stir and the students approached the whole event with impressive enthusiasm!”
Their efforts paid off, however, as they succeeded in raising more than £300 for Comic Relief.
