Residents in Dubton raise safety issues

Have your say

The Dubton Residents Group (DRG) has contacted local councillor David May with their concerns about speeding and road safety in the area.

Mr May told the Review: “The Dubton Residents Group made contact with me about their concerns about speeding and safety in the road outside their homes. They pointed out that some of their car mirrors have been damaged and that there is no pavement and many youngsters have to use the road every day - not the least of which is to get to school.

“The road has become much busier in recent years with more HGVs and large vehicles from farms using it. I made contact with the traffic officer at the council and was told that he will arrange for a traffic survey to be done and will also raise this for discussion at the next meeting of the Traffic Co-ordination Group later this month.”
