IF YOU fancy trying something different on Saturday, June 30, why not pop over to Montrose Sailing Club, at the back of Rossie Island, round by Esk Road.
They will be throwing open their doors from 11am to 3pm for a special ‘Tea by the Sea’ event in aid of cancer charity Sail 4 Cancer. The event is open to everyone.
Just turn up on the day and bring your family and friends. There’s no entry fee, but all donations to Sail 4 Cancer will be very gratefully received.
Craig Robinson, Sailing Club Commodore, said: “You can indulge in a cuppa or two and some delicious home-made cakes in the lovely surroundings of this small family-oriented sailing club by the Montrose Basin.
“Should you choose to linger a while there will be some exciting dinghy racing too - and all in aid of a great cause!”
