Schoolhouse and Gallery on view

DURING this year’s Doors Open event, when the public is invited into buildings which are not necessarily available to them on a regular basis, two local buildings will be on the list.

Logie Schoolhouse, Logie, Montrose, DD10 9LD

The schoolhouse will be open on Saturday and Sunday, September 8 and 9.

Opening hours will be 10am to 4pm.

Dating from the 19th century, the schoolhouse is one of the most complete surviving examples of mudwall buildings in Scotland, which, in the past was used as a school and a church.
