Screening of a film focusing on climate change

THIS Sunday (February 5) Forfar Dramatic Society Youth Theatre will be having an intimate screening of the film which they have produced about climate change at their clubhouse 132 East High Street, Forfar.

The cost of making the film was funded by the Climate Challenge Fund who also provided monies for insulating the clubrooms.

Youth Theatre Convenor Neil Paterson said: “The young people have worked very hard to make an entertaining and informative film and the club is very grateful for their efforts to keep everybody informed about climate change, without which the grant for insulation might have been impossible.”

There will be an official screening of the film later on February 28 after which the film will be available for viewing through the Forfar Dramatic Society website.

If you or anybody you know is aged between 11 and 18 and would like to get involved in the youth theatre then please contact Neil Paterson 01575 570934.

Alternatively, pop along at 7 pm on Sunday, February 12 to the clubrooms at 132 East High Street, Forfar.

The club would also like to hear from adult volunteers who might be interested in helping to run the Youth Theatre.
