The MoFest Ceilidh returned on Saturday for its second year to a packed Town Hall.
Also returning was ceilidh band Sporran Again, from Dundee, who had everyone dancing from the very first song.
Anne Jenkins, MoFest secretary, said: “A big thank you to StirFresh for supplying the neeps and tatties, we really do appreciate all the support we get locally with our events.
“In terms of the festival itself, we are hard at work planning for the May 22 kick off and we have some really exciting new things planned for this year.
“We’re hoping to have a headliner announcement very soon. People kept trying to get it out of us at the ceilidh but as soon as everything is finalised we’ll let you know.
“Band/artist applications for this year are now closed. Trader applications will close on February 28.
“This year all applications for stalls have to be submitted online, so we would encourage those who haven’t already done so to apply via our website. This includes community groups and those who have had stalls in previous years.”
