T'Pau have cancelled their Montrose gig as Carol Decker has lost her voice

As we about to go to press we heard that T’pau have been forced to cancel their Montrose gig after lead after singer Carol Decker lost her voice.

The 80’s pop legends were set to play at Montrose Town Hall on March 13 as part of their UK tour to promote Pleasure and Pain - the band’s first studio album in 15 years.

A spokesperson for North East Musical and Sports Promotions, who organised the gig, said: “Sorry to inform you but just had a call to say T’pau gig is cancelled.

“Carol Decker, who cancelled dates earlier in tour due to virus, has been advised to cancel all dates until she has made full recovery.

“Bear with us a couple of days till we see if this can be rescheduled. We will release info as soon as we have it.”
