A WONDERFUL selection of up to 50 Teddy bears has been created by two local ladies, Alice Horodecki and Ilene Palgrave, to be exhibited and sold at the Glamis Gathering on May 19.
All proceeds will be given to the Ninewells Cancer Campaign.
Alice explained that a friend who had died of cancer had left material to make the Teddies, which she and Ilene had been very happy to do.
The suggested selling price is £20 per Teddy, although if anyone wishes to make a greater donation to the campaign they are entitled to do so.
There will be a Teddy bears’ picnic at Glamis on the Sunday (May 19), incorporated in a performance by The Singing Kettle of their Wild West Show.
Children are encouraged to bring along their own Teddies as they enjoy the fun and singing from the entertainers.
There will be prizes for the best dressed Teddy.
Anyone wishing to participate in the Gathering is invited to contact Mrs Robina Addison on 01674 675514.
