THE AMAZING tale of the birth of the King James Bible is told in a film which will be screened in Hillside Church on Thursday, March 24, at 7.30pm.
It is 400 years since the King James translation was authorised to be read in churches.
The film tells the extraordinary story behind this most extraordinary of books.
Acclaimed actor John Rhys-Davies (Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones) leads viewers back into a darker time to discover this fascinating tale of saints and sinners, power and passion, as the greatest translation of Holy Scripture emerges into a world and culture that would never be quite the same again.
The film lasting 90 minutes is being shown by Montrose Churches Together, refreshments will be served and all are very welcome.
