Tractor and spreader stolen in Kirrie

Police are investigating following the theft of over £50,000 of farm equipment in Kirriemuir over the weekend.

Officers are appealing for information after a tractor and spreader were stolen from a farm in Kirriemuir sometime between 10am on Sunday, July 24, and 7.30am on Monday, July 25.

The tractor is described as being a Claas 640, white and green with narrow wheels with red trims and valued at around £40,000. The spreader is described as being valued at around £16,000.

Other construction tools were also stolen.
