There have been problems with TV reception in Southesk Court sheltered housing complex in Ferryden.
The matter was brought to the attention of Councillor David May, who made a site visit.
He told the Review: “I spoke to several of the residents and they gave me details of the problems they had been facing for some time. It was clear that as many of the residents are not too mobile they have a higher dependence on their televisions than many others, especially at the festive time.
“I made contact with the head of housing and was pleased to inform the residents that the council is intending to provide digi satellite boxes for tenants to combat this.”
Councillor May said that there still remained some problems, but that work to resolve these has been undertaken.
