Tomorrow, (June 21), is the longest day - and the Angus County Press Group is inviting readers to take part in a unique video diary to capture moments of the day.
The Angus County Press community project is open to everyone to take part.
Our staff will be out and about shooting video on the longest day - capturing scenes from dusk to dawn.
And we want you to submit your own videos from the day.
The short films of no longer than around 30 seconds can be anything you want.
They could be of the sunrise or scenes from our parks or the town centre - images which capture the longest day.
We’ll then put them all together and make them available to view online at our website, www.montrosereview.co.uk
So, use your mobile ‘phone to film your scenes and send them to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll do all the technical work from there!
And to generate as wide an audience as possible we’ll share the videos on our Facebook and Twitter sites, and use the hashtag #longestlocalday
As it’s a project to mark the longest day, all videos must be taken on Friday and, because we want to have them online that evening, they need to be with us no later than 2.00 p.m.
Our community project - the first we’ve piloted - also forms part of our ‘Summer Of Love’ campaign which is aimed at the business community and advertisers.
